Top Global Field Evangelism (GFE) 105 scorer Zeka Wakoli is currently the news maker in the team after he was called for national duties-to play for national team Harambee Stars.
With his ambition to play for the national team, Wakoli says his dream has to come to pass in his early stages.
“As a player, it has always been a dream to play in the national team. I wanted to play for the national team Harambee Stars before I reach on my 23rd birthday and I thank God it has come to earlier than my target,” said
As a top scorer with his side GFE 105, Wakoli is already living his true dream.
“This first call up, I want to try my best and do well to play for the nation. It has been my dream and it has come to pass therefore I have achieved.” Said Wakoli.
This weekend, when national team training is on break, he will on the starting line-up for his GFE 105 team as it faces premier League side Ushuru FC at Camp Toyoyo Ground in Nairobi in the Kenya National Super League (NSL).
So far he has scored five goals and two assists for his side which is leading the NSL with 13 points from six matches played.
The former Kimilili Boys’ player was born and brought up Baraton village, Trans Nzoia County.
His coach Joshua Obare is one happy individual who holds the pride of nurturing such good player.
“He is a good player and I expect him to do well for the national team. He has been very instrumental on the offensive side and that will deliver for the national team,” said Obare.
