Eldoret Falcon ready to win against Vihiga Queens

Eldoret Falcon is determined to collect maximum points against Vihiga Queens in the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) on Saturday in Eldoret.

Sitting in position five on the Zone B table, Falcons will be targeting a maiden win against second placed Queens from Vihiga in a match to be staged at Kipchoge Keino stadium.

After collecting seven points from six matches played so far, Eldoret falcons will be seeking to extend the winning formula after registering their second win a fortnight ago against Vihiga Leeds with 7-0 score.

Tactician Joshua Ariko said they had a bad start in the league but hopes to win against second placed Queens who have collected 15 points.

“We are well prepared to take on them and take maximum points. We had a bad start in the league but we are picking up slowly and come Saturday, we will be winning again,” said Ariko.

He added that Eldoret Falcons lost by a solitary goal to Oserian three weeks ago at the same venue and Oserian went ahead to beat Vihiga Queens to topple them at the helm of the table.

“If we managed to lose by that one goal against Oserian and Oserian won against Queens then we have an upper hand against our visitors,” said Ariko adding that the team is better compared to last year’s side
