Dennis Kitambi is going nowhere, AFC management

AFC Leopards secretariat has denied allegations that interim coach Dennis Kitambi will be moving out of the den.

In a statement sent to news rooms, teams management said the interim manager was not quitting his job club to rejoin Stewart Hall in Bangladesh.

It clarified that the 12-time domestic champions the allegations are mere speculation about the club’s coaching.

Kitambi has been in acting capacity folowing the sacking of then coach Robert Matano last week. With Kitambi at the helm, Leopards has won four consecutive matches

in the statement signed by both club chairman Dan Mule and secretary General Oscar Igaida, read, “AFC Leopards wishes to refute allegations appearing in sections of the media to the effect that coach Dennis Kitambi has asked to leave the club. “This position is not only untrue, but also aimed at destabilising the team that is performing very well at the moment. Kitambi remains our coach and any changes to the technical bench will be only communicated by the NEC not any other source.”
