Long serving athletics coach David Letting was elected unopposed as the chairman of North Rift Volleyball federation.
Letting was elected in absentia during the polls held yesterday in Kapsabet, Nandi County to retain his post and will serve for other four years in office.
Coming from Uasin Gishu County, Letting said people still trust him that is why he was elected unopposed event when he was absent.
“I thank God that people still trust in me. I was not event in the meeting but I was put at the helm of the management,” said Letting who is on official duty in Meru County.
He will be assisted by Willy Rotich, the first vice chairman and Philip Maiyo as the second vice chairman.
Lydia Chepng’etich was voted vuice chair, Gender and minority’s post while Kenya Primary schools Sports Association secretary General Amos Rono remained as the secretary and will be assisted by Gideon Chesop.
Joseph Kosgei will serve as treasurer assisted by Henry Rotich, William Kemboi to serve as Sports organising secretary and will be deputised by Stephen Radido.
