Prisons Kenya shines in opener

Prison Kenya started well at the 2018 Africa Club volleyball championships in Egypt with a comfortable win against Red Skins of Lesotho.

The former national champions won in three straight sets of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-22 in the opening match of the championships in pool A match.

The warders establishing a comfortable lead in the early stages of the match.

The first win for the Paul Muthinja led team was a much needed boost for the team as they now shift their focus to tomorrows opponents, Espoir from Democratic Republic of Congo, a match that will be played at 6:00 pm Kenyan time. The other Kenyan representatives, GSU, will play their first match today at 8:00 pm Kenyan time against Olimpique Club of Algeria
