New comers Menengai Oilers have sealed the play off semifinal match after commanding the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) championships table with 69 points.
The Nakuru based rugby team lost only one match against Western Bull’s on the return leg in Kakamega. With the league coming to an end this weekend, Menengai has a home advantage awaiting other teams to follow suit.
The second semifinalist is yet to be determined as the gap between Western Bulls with 62 points and third placed Mean Machine with 60 points.
Kisumu has collected 39 points followed by Catholic Monks with 36 points and USIU (34 points) round off the teams that will be in action in the Top 6 playoffs whose pairings will also be determined on Saturday 14 April when the league phase draws to a close.
