Dickson Masindano to defend Kenya Seed Classic title

Dickson Masindano will be targeting to defend his title at the weekend’s Kenya Seed Classic golf tournament to be staged at par 73 Kitale golf club.

Masindano won last year’s event and he is optimistic to defend his title and walk away with in-calf Heifer.

The two day, golfers are expected to play 36 holes, with 18 holes on Saturday and the remaining 18 on Sunday, with Masindano expressing his joy as he will walk heads up, full of experience.

“I have to defend my title seriously. This year, I have much experience compared to last year and that will play a critical role in ensuring that I become the champion again,” said Masindano, who played on handicap 18 last year and improved to 16 this year.

Club captain Patrice, who is mourning the passing on of his mother said the event is one of the biggest on the course and they are ready to host the tournament.

“Everything is set for weekend event and we are expecting a bigger turn out,” said Tomno.
