Royal Club’s Erick Ooko took the lead in the second round of Professional golfers’ campaign on Road To KCB masters tournament to be stagea at Karen golf club.
Taking on par 72 Vet Lab course, Ooko played three over 157 after posting two over 74 on Monday and added one over 73 today to lead by a shot against Mumias’ long hitter Dismas Indiza.
Indiza played four over 148 with one over 73 today and four over 75 in round one.
Golf Park’s David Wakhu who led round one, played disastrous four over 76 in the second round to to his one over he played on Monday to finish five over 149.
Fourth position went to professional Golfers of Kenya captain John Wangai. The Sigona based golfer registered six over 150 with his swings.
The event is The first in pros meeting out of five across The country ahead of Sunshine Tour-sanctioned KCB Karen Masters set for July 19 to 22 at the par 72 Karen Country Club.
