Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) champions General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) will be seeking to accumulate points at the 4th leg of KVF meeting in Eldoret tomorrow.
The champions will have to face Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) who are currently enjoying top of the table in men’s and women respectively.
GSU and Kenya Prison, who missed the opening leg in Bungoma following their assignment at the Africa Club Championships in Egypt will be hoping to bounce back and defend their national title.
Sitting in unfamiliar territory in position five on the table, GSU will begin their match against Bungoma County at 9:00am followed by Western Prison at 11:00am as top of the table Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) with 12 points will begin their campaign against Administration Police of Kenya (A.P-Kenya) in court A before playing their counterparts Kahawa Garrison two hours later.
Second placed Equity Bank will start their campaign against A.P Kenya at 11:00am after tackling Prison Mombasa at 9:00am in court B.
Former champions Kenya Prison will play against their Nairobi side Prison Nairobi and Bomet County as new comers Naks, sitting in 5th place hosts Kahawa Garrison and Bomet County respectively.
A showdown is looming between former champions former KVF champions Prison Kenya and KDF in women’s category. The duo, who have enjoyed much of the leagues, will open their contest at 1:00pm followed by another titanic \match against top of the table KCB
