Nineteen teams will be battling out for the Africa Merchant Assurance Company (AMACO) cum Paul Bitok titles as the volleyball tournament kicks off this Saturday at Eldoret Polytechnic.
General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) will be defending their men and women’s titles when the games kick off.
GSU, who won all their matches today at the same venue in the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) league is in pool B and will battle out with other 12 teams.
The Fanya Fuje Uone are in pool A alongside Equity Bank, and Bungoma County while pool B has Strathmore University, Golden Wing and Nandi County.
Kenya Ports Authority leads pool C with Kericho County and Ugandan Faru as former champions Kenya Prison are in pool D with Sky and Nairobi County.
In women’s category, defending champions KPC A is in pool B alongside Bungoma County, Ugandan Espoir and Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) while Prison Kenya leads pool A with Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), KPC B and Ugandan KAVC.
