Focus will be on Plateau Girls when will present three disciplines at this year’s Rift Valley Secondary Schools Sports Association (RVSSSA)regional games kick off at Hill School ground next week.
The school and tutelage of Robert Simiyu will be represented by three disciplines, achieving something they have never achieved in their life time.
Coming from Ainabkoi Sub County, the school will be competing in three disciplines of football under 19, under 16 and volleyball following their dominance at the Uasin Gishu School games played over the weekend at Hill school.
In the finals of the county championships held at the same venue, Plateau thrashed Kuinet 6-0 with Judith Koech notching a hat trick in the under 19 category Eddy Tallam and Lydia Lelei were on target as Plateau won the title against Koiwarusen in Under 16 before winning volleyball title ousting Kosachei in three straight sets of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-21.
The unimaginable feet was good tiding from school principal Ednah Kogo who was confident that at least one team will represent the school at the national level after failing to proceed from last year’s final match.
