Kenya women football team Harambee Starlets slipped to 123 in the latest FIFA Ranking that was released on Sunday.
This is a 15 positions drop from the previous 108 as Nigeria’s Super Falcons still enjoy top of the continent and 38th globally in the FIFA Women rankings.

Nigeria is one of the eight teams to have qualified for this year’s Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) that will be hosted in Ghana in November. Starlets were eliminated from the championships by two time Africa champions Equatorial Guinea following a 3-2 aggregate.
Ghana, 46th globally are second in the continent, Cameroon (48th), Equatorial Guinea (55th) maintaining their third and fourth position respectively. South Africa remain fourth in the continent but climb two spots to position 51 worldwide.
Ivory Coast (68th), Morocco (78th) and Senegal (82nd) also retain their position in the continent, ranking sixth, seventh and ninth respectively.
There is a change of globally with Germany rising to second position at the expense of Canada who falls to fifth position; USA maintains their top spot with France and England second and third respectively.
