GoTv Shield champions AFC Leopards SC will be in action tomorrow to defend their title, now named FKF Sportpesa Shield against Kenya Police in the first quarterfinal match.
After exiting CAF Confederation Cup on Tuesday, newly crowned Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia will be in action on Sunday.
Playing in the KPL, Leopards beat then new KPL side Kariobangi Sharks to claim the victory and tomorrow, they will play second tier side Kenya Police that plays at the National Super League (NSL).
Kenya Police will be hosting the champions at Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega. In other Saturday match, former KPL champions Ulinzi Stars will be action against Western Branch League side Riverplate FC.
The Kenya Defence side Ulinzi will be in action before paving way for d Leopards against Kenya Police.
Sunday at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Sofapaka will face off with Tusker FC in the first of a doubleheader. The 2017 runners-up Kariobangi Sharks will then take on Gor Mahia at 4.15 pm at the same venue.
A Kshs 2 Million prize, as well as a chance to represent the country in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup, is at stake for the winner of the tourney which is now at its business end.
