AFC Leopards, Ulinzi Stars match on

Gotv defending champions AFC Leopards SC and former champions Ulinzi Stars qualified into the semifinals of the FKF Sportpesa Shield Cup during the double header at Bukhungu stadium today.

Former Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions was the first team to make into the best four in a 4-1 win against Division One side Rioverplate before Leopards edging out Kenya Police by similar score.

The KPL side won the match with goals from Enosh Ochieng, Ibrahim Shambili, Daniel Waweru and Elijah Mwanzia as Kennedy Wandari netted a consolation for Riverplate in the 66th minute.

After losing double KPL matches, Leopards won the match through G Whyvonne Isuza, Ezekiel Odera, Eugene Mukangula and Brian Marita as Kenya Police forward Martin Mutua beat defender Dancun Otieno to the ball to score a consolation goal in the 77thinute.
