Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has launched a complain on some issues regarding the teams preparations for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Black Stars of Ghana.
Despite winning the match by a solitary goal Migne said the team’s preparations were lowly, only hitting the camp four days to the match at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
He said that there were some sort of disrespect to the national team like Cameroon using the Kasarani stadium ahead of their Comoros tie and not the national team that trained at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies.
From the look of things, the Frenchman’s parading of five local based players who eventually went ahead to give the country a famous win was not short of controversy. He took issue with Captain Victor Wanyama’s total miss from this clash citing a few examples where professional players show up in the national team even when on injury.
Kenya’s Saturday win takes the country to 3 points from two matches, the same tally with the day’s opponents who sit ahead on goal difference. The other group F match will be played today Sunday 9th in Ethiopia pitting the home side against Sierra Leone.
