Former Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Western Stima has been promoted back into the top flight football following their victory against Coast Stima in a match played at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
In the Stima derby, Western beat their Coast side by a solitary goal scored by Junior Mukisa on the 88th minute to back maximum points and get promoted with 76 points in the National Super League (NSL).
The win was good for Kenya Power men who can finish in the second tier competition is second spot, that is if they lose all their remaining two matches against Nairobi Stima and Talanta FC,
Only the top two finishers are guaranteed slots in the top tier.
In another NSL matches, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) won 2-0 against Green Commandoes at Camp Toyoyo grounds with goals from Dennis Ng’ang’a and Kennedy Owino.
