Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Nakumatt FC will face off with National Super League (NSL) Ushuru in the play-off to determine who will play in the KPL.
Nakumatt finished third last (16th) in the KPL while Ushuru finished third in the NSL to book for the promotional playoff, with the first match to be staged at camp Toyoyo in Nairobi on Friday afternoon.
This will be the second time Ushuru will be in the promotional play-off. Last year, Ushuru finished in the same position but lost to Thuka United in the promotional play-off. With the loss, Thika remained in the KPL as well as Ushuru in the NSL.
The return leg will be played at on Sunday, October 28th at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani starting at 3 pm.
The winner on aggregate will join NSL Champions Western Stima and KCB in the 2019 top tier league.
