National rugby 15s side Kenya Simbas will play Roman in in the friendly match before heading for France for the Repechage as they seek for the 2019 Rugby World Cup ticket in Japan.
The build up match will be crucial for the Ian Snook led charges will be facing Canada, Germany and Hong Kong with the winner of the repechage qualifying for the World Cup in Japan next.
The winners will be in pool B alongside world champions New Zealand, South Africa , Namibia and Italy.
Captain Davis Chenge said the side are relishing the challenge of facing Romania and the repechage next weekend. “Our preparations have been good and despite the financial challenges that we have faced, the boys know what’s at stake and they are going to give their all” said Chenge.
The Simbas other build up matches against Namibia, British Army and Loftus 200 scheduled for last month were called off before leaving for Marseille on Monday.
