Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Mombasa sub-branch offices were raided on Friday night and stole property worth an estimated Sh100,000.
FKF Mombasa Sub-branch chairman, Goshi Juma Alliy, Sunday said unknown people broke into the federation’s offices and stole computers and other valuables worth an estimated Sh100,000.
Alliy also said the thugs also stole important documents in the break-in. He said that after raiding the offices, the unknown people replaced the padlock on the door with a new set.
“Our offices have been broken into by unknown people who also stole laptops, computers, documents among other things. Documents containing vital information were also stolen,” Alliy said.
It was not immediately known at what time did the robbery took place but Alliy said they reported the matter to police officers.
This is the first-time the office has been raided since the FKF Sub-branch elections held in December 2015 and which ushered in a new team of administrators.
Before the December 2015 elections, officials from FKF Mombasa Sub-branch and South Coast branch shared the offices.
The offices are located on Mohammed Kheri Street opposite Mombasa County Stadium.
