Emerging Stars, the Kenya Under 23 football team returned into the country on Monday evening following their triumph against their hosts Mauritius in the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations-cum-Olympics qualifiers played on Sunday at Anjalay Stadium in Belle Vue Maurel.
The triumph Kenya won 3-1 against their hosts to move into the second round and will either play Sudan or Seychelles in the second round as part of their qualifying rounds.
The Stars won 8-1 on aggregate after they thrashed Mauritius 5-0 in the first leg played on Wednesday at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
