Dorothy Kimutai will be chasing Discovery Kenya junior title come 27th January at Eldoret Sports Club as the championships enters its 28th edition in Eldoret.

Kimutai, the Kenya national Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) 3,000m steeplechase champion will face a stiff competition from reigning world under 18 800m silver medalist Lydia Jeruto in the 6km junior race.

According to her coach David Maiyo, Kimutai has been training well in readiness for the title chase.

“She has been training well and I hope she will replicate the same when she takes to the field against her opponents,” said Maiyo who has nurtured many athletes across the country.
