2018 Kass Marathon champion Cynthia Jerop will be the key highlight at the inaugural Bomet County Half marathon set for this Saturday.
The Hanover half marathon winner will be facing off with other Bomet based athletes as they chase a kshs 300,000 cheque.
The former world cross country bronze medalist also finished second at the Nairobi Standard Chartered marathon after winning Kaptagat Forest half marathon and Chemususu Dan 10km race.
The competition themed, Racing Towards Universal Health Coverage, will start at Kaptengecha trading centre in Konoin Sub county and end at Silibwet playgrounds in Bomet Central Sub County.
Winners will be awarded Sh300,000, second-placed Sh200,000 while third ranked will get Sh150,000.
