Rugby family mourns Richard Sindindi Otieno

Rugby Family has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Richard Sindindi Otieno.

The former Impala Saracens player died in pool while swimming in Nairobi.

According to Impala Saracens club secretary Charles Mbogo Kabaiku, who officially announced Otieno’s death said the rugby player died today morning.

In his official announcement, Kabaiku said, “It is with the saddest regret that the Kenya Rugby Fraternity and Impala Saracens Rugby Family announces the sudden death of Richard Sindindi Otieno, an astute Impala Saracens Rugby Team member since 2011. He is a former student at Maseno University and St. Mary’s Yala.”

He continued, “The unfortunate incident happened this morning of 25th February 2019 in Nairobi Kenya while on a routine swimming exercise where he is suspected to have drowned. He leaves behind a young family, wife Catherine and daughter Candace.”
