AFC Leopards has re-signed their former player Paul Were for a short period of time- before the end of the season.
The Kenya Premier League (KPL) side confirmed the transfer window that comes to an end today.
Leopards struggled through the opening leg of the transitional 2018/19 season and the midfielder has emerged as a big target for the side, which has had a number of big moves between March and April.
Were, who is set to sign a three – month deal, will be at Ingwe for a second stint, after leaving the club in 2014 for South African side, Amazulu.
It has not been rosy for the forward since his departure for greener pastures. He found it tough in South Africa and lasted just six months at the club before going on a round trip in Europe, playing in Greece, Turkey.
Having been part of the Kenya national team, Harambee Stars that secured qualification to the 2019 AFCON finals, Were will be hoping to keep his place in the team with this move.
