Following the conclusion of Africa Club volleyball championships in Cairo Egypt, Kenyan top clubs will now be focusing to earn points in the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) leagues.
Reigning champions Kenya Prison and General Service Unit (GSU) in women and men will be in action in the second leg of the league in Kitui County this Friday 26th.
The prison warders will play two matches on Friday. The champions will open the court against their arch rivals Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) at 9:00am followed by Kenya Army in the afternoon encounter.
In other women matches, former champions Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) will play Bungoma County and KCB while Kenya Army will also play Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) before KDF hosting Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) who are making their second attempt in the league.
In men’s category, champions GSU will begin their title defence against Nairobi Water followed by Kenya Ports Authority, the first leg winners in Kitale.
Former champion Prison Kenya will host Equity Bank and Nairobi Prison.
