Newly promoted side Nyuki Starlets and Kisumu All Starlets registered big wins in the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) played today.
Nyuki, who were held to a one all draw against Oserian Ladies on Saturday, recovered well to win 102 against their hosts Makolanders at Camp Toyoyo on Sunday.
Faridah Nyarotso scored first for Makolanders in the 15th minute but Anne Anyango leveled three minutes later before Mary Majeso scored the winning goal for the kakamega based team in the 51st minute.
After 4-0 thrashing in the hands of Gaspo Ladies, Kisumu All Starlets won by the similar margin against their hosts Soccer Queens.
Jacinta Atieno and Mary Airo scored a brace each to secure the three points away. Atieno started the scoring in the 18th minute followed by Airo’s second goal in 44th minute. Scoring in alternating manner, Atieno netted a brace in the 75th minute as Airo scored the last in 85th minute.
In another match, Wadadia were held to a three all draw againsting visiting Kibera Girls Soccer Academy at Mumias Complex.
Ruth Chebungei scored a brace for Wadadia as Mariobn Abiora scored a goal while Victorious Dorcas, Siliya Lumasia and Idda Odhiambo scored a goal apiece for Kibera.
