KDF on top

Kenya defence Forces (KDF) men volleyball team maintain their top leadewrship during the third leg of Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) league after winning in today’s match at The Eldoret national Polytechnic.

With top teams failing to attend the meeting due to national assignment,  KDF won against Bungoma County in straight sets of 25-17,25-20 and 25-21 to extend lead on table standing with 12 points from four matches to remain unbeaten.

General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya Prisons gave the championships a bye as more than half of the team’s players are with the national team ahead of Zone Five All Africa Games qualifiers next month.

In other men’s match, Nairobi Prisons recorded their win of the season thanks to 3-0 over Western Prison. They won in 29-27, 30-28 and 25-23.

Western Prisons surrendered a one set lead to succumb to Kenya Ports Authority 1-3( 26-24, 17-25,17-25 and 21-25)
