Bandari set up a good revenge against Sportpesa Shield Cup champions Kariobangi Sharks, winning their second title and booked a slot to represent Kenya in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Sharks defeated Bandari in the third edition of Sportpesa Super Cup finals in Tanzania in January.
Bandari dethrew Sharks FC from the SportPesa Shield Cup today with a 3-1 victory following the abandoned match yesterday due to heavy rains at Moi Spports Centre, Kasarani.
Before today’s match that kicked off in the 46th minute, Benjamin Mosha scored the third goal where Bandari led 2-1 on Saturday.
Burundian international Yemi Mwana scored a brace on Saturday before Patillah Omotto halved the score.
The win was good for mailmen who will represent kenya at the CAF Confederation Cup.
Following the win, Bandari pockedted kshs 2 million.
Bandari won their second title after the 2015 after beating then Nakumatt FC now Mount Kenya United FC.
