Malkia ready to strike in Egypt

Kenya women volleyball team Malkia Strikers will be hoping to win back their African title when they compete at the Confederation of Africa Volleyball (CAVB) Africa Cup of Nations in Cairo, Egypt.

The Kenyan queens lost the title to Cameroon in 2017 will be hoping to reclaim their title after two years of waiting.

The Japheth Munala and Shaileen Ramdoo coached side lost to Cameroon at the 3-1 2 in the 2017 in Yaoundé.

Among those who travelled with Malkia are Kenya Pipeline youngster Gladys Ekaru, veteran Brackcides Agala, Trizah Atuka, Edith Wisa, Jane
