Fresh from returning from Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Bernard Ochieng has signed for the newly promoted side Wazito ahead of the Kenya Premier League kick off next month.
After making their return to the KPL, Wazito is solidifying their defence to ensure they don’t sink the way they did last season after staying in the top flight football for one season.
The former Vihiga United defender, Ochieng played against Tanzania where they won 3-2 in the second match in Cairo.
Ochieng becomes the 6thj player to be signed after Joshua Nyatini, Kevin Omondi, Derrick Otanga, Bixente Otieno and Gad Matthews.
The arrival of Ochieng’ means head coach Fred Ambani will have a reliable option beyond Eugene Ambulwa, Lloyd Wahome and Dennis Gicheru in central defence
