Safaricom splash millions ahead of Deaf athletics championships

Safaricom has boosted Deaf Athletics Association of Kenya ahead of the national track and field championships set for tomorrow at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani ahead of Africa Deaf Athletics Championships.

As top Kenyan athletes like Juster Kwamesa, the Safaricom road races champion and Daniel Kiptum set to shine.

Kwamesa has represented the country at the World Championships in   Deaf championships,” added Joseph.

The Telecommunication company sponsored the championships with Kshs 2.5 million for the two days where they will select the national team that will represent the country at the inaugural continental championships in Nairobi that will flag off on 16th to 22nd August.

DAAK secretary general, Bernard Banja wass full of praise for Safaricom for the continued support and promised to reciprocate with good results.
