Nairobi Water successfully retained the Water and Sanitation Company (WASCO) Scrabble title as curtains came down on Thursday in Embu.
Rated players Paul Olali and John Ndirangu anchored Nairobi Water to win back to back titles.
Olali lost one game to earn a spread of 1537 ahead of Ndirangu’s 724 points to scoop both the team and individual titles.
In third was Kirinyaga’s Felix Ngige wrapped up the podium positions. On the team event, Nairobi emerged champions winning all their games with Eldoret coming in a distant second and Nakuru emerged as 2nd runners up.
