Kisia win Kabete Open on home turf

Home golfer Mike Kisia fired four under par to win Kabete Open, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) on par 72 Vet Lab golf club.

Kisia won the title with 212 gross in the 54-hole bruising encounter after enjoying home course.

On Saturday, he sunk one over 73 in the first and second rounds before he had good run in the last round of 7 under 65 to take the title.

Day one leader Samuel Njoroge from Railways was second with -1, 215 before Great Rift Valley’s Simon Njogu completed the podium with +3 of 219.
