KGU name Africa Golf Team Championship team

Kenyan top Junior golfers Mutahi Kibugu and Zubair Khan will be joined by Kenya Amateur players ahead of the Africa Golf Team Championship set for Mont Choisy Le Golf next month in Mauritius as Kenya Golf Union named the team today.

Kenya will be joined by Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana, Morocco, Swaziland, Ghana, Malawi, Namibia, Reunion, Seychelles, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and hosts will be chasing the title.

The Muthaiga based juniors join Kenya Railways player Samuel Njoroge, who leads the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series, and Simon Njogu from Great Rift Valley Resort who were selected in Order of Merit.

Last year, the championships were held Elephant Hills Golf Resort in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe where over 15 countries participated.
