Former world cross country champion Agnes Jebet Tirop retained her 10,000m bronze in the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
The reigning Tuskys Cross country champion defended her bronze title she won two years ago in London after becoming the best Kenyan in 10,000m in 30:25.20.
She finished behind the champion Sifan Hassan of Netherlands (30:17.62) and silver medalist Letesenbet Gidey (30:21.23) of Ethiopia.
Tirop led Kenyans Rosemary Monica Wanjiru (30:35.75) to 4th as world 5,000m champion Hellen Obiri was 5th timing 30:35.82.
With the bronze, Kenya finished the second day in the second position with one gold won by Ruth Chepngetich in marathon. The USA leads the standings with two gold and two silver medals.
