Gor, Ulinzi, Homeboyz win KPL matches

Champions Gor Mahia continued with their dominance against their arch-rivals AFC Leopards in the Kenya Premier League (KPL) match played on Sunday 10th at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.

After losing their CAF Confederation Cup group stages, Gor stunned Leopards 4-1 to go top of the standings with 18 points from 7 matches, losing one against Mathare United in the mid-week encounter.

Yikpe Gislain scored a brace as Clifton Miheso and Lawrence Juma scored a goal each as Tresor Ndikumana scored a consolation for Leopards.

In other matches, Shield Cup champions Bandari by a solitary goal against former champions Ulinzi Stars at Afraha Stadium.

After losing 3-0 to Western Stima in a mid-week clash, the Bernard Mwalala led side lost back to back as Oscar Wamalwa scored the only goal of the match.

In Kakamega’s Bukhungu stadium, Kakamega Homeboyz defeated Western Stima 2-0 in a crucial encounter.

Kennedy Onyango and Ali Ahmed scored for the hosts.
