Kenya, who failed to qualifier at the finals of the Olympic qualifiers, will be focusing at the CECAFA women tournament set to kick off next weekend in Tanzania.

The David Ouma led side the Harambee Starlets left for Tanzania after safely landing back into the country from Lusaka.
Kenya have been pooled in Group ‘B’ alongside Uganda, Ethiopia and Djibouti. Group ‘A’ comprises of Tanzania, Burundi, Zanzibar and South Sudan. The top two teams from each group will proceed to the semi-final stage of the championship.
