General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya prison reigned supreme against their opponents to retain their Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) title played on Sunday at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
GSU and Kenya Prison won all their three men and women matches respectively played in a round-robin to lift the title to earn a direct ticket for Africa Club championships.
In men, the champions defeated Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in straight sets of 3-0 (25-19,25-21,25-23) in their last match to retain the title.
In women, the wardress won in straight sets in their last match against Kenya Commercial Bank in 3-0 (25-22,25-19,25-23).
Prisons and KCB have booked an automatic ticket to next year’s Africa Club Championship.
In the earlier match played at the same venue, Kenya Pipeline recovered from their previous double loss against Kenya Prisons to win against Directorate of Criminal Investigation 3-0(32-30,25-22,25-22) to finish third in the three-day tournament
