Owino names Beach Volleyball provisional squad ahead of Olympic qualifiers

Beach volleyball head coach Patrick Owino has named the provisional squad for the Africa Olympic qualifiers Round one set for between January 8 and 13 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

But Owino will be without 2019 All Africa Games beach volleyball silver medalist Naomi Too, who partnered well with Gaudencia Makokha to win the silverware.

Owino has named six players in the women’s team and seven for the men’s side . Men’s Olympic qualification showpiece will go down in Entebe, Uganda between December 18 and 22.

He named Ibrahim Oduor and Donald Mchete, Cornelius Kiplagat and Brian Melly, Kenya Ports Authority duo of Jimmy Mwaniki and Enock Omogeni and Evans Bera.

The women teams consists of Brackcides Agala, Loise Tarus and Yvonne Wavinya, Kenya Commercial Bank pair of Phoscah Kasisi and Metrine Nabwile and Makokha.
