Stars ready to scalp Eritrea as Kimanzi returns

Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup holders Kenya will be facing off with Eritrea in the semifinals on Tuesday afternoon as they welcome back their head coach Francis Kimanzi who was suspended for two matches by Cecafa council.

The seven time champions won all their pool B matches to emerge leaders in pool B while their opponents, who will be eying maiden title win finished second in pool A led by hosts Uganda.

The Lugogo Stadium in Kampala, Uganda will be good for Harambee Stars who will be chasing to retain their title they last won in 2017 at Machakos stadium.

In place of suspended Kimanzi, his assistant Zedekiah Otieno managed to win two matches, 2-1 over Sudan and 1-0 win over Zanzibar in their pool while Kimanzi beat Tanzania 1-0.
