As ten men Kariobangi Sharks played to a 2-all draw with Nzoia handing Bandari free points after failing to travel to Mombasa’s Mbaraki Stadium encounter.
At Bukhungu, Wanga scored a brace with Peter Thiongo and David Okoth scoring a goal apiece in the 4-0 hammering of Kisumu.
Thiongo handed the home side the lead in the 23rd minute before Wanga adding the second in the 42nd minute into the break.
Okoth scored the third in the 63rd minute as Wanga completed his brace after converting a penalty in the 73rd as Homeboyz maintain their third spot on the log as they head to 30 points from 15 matches.
At Machakos stadium, Sharks were forced to play ten men to earn a point against 2009 champions Sofapaka in a 2-all draw.
Shark’s Sidney Lokale opened the scoring with just nine minutes from the whistle Elli Asieche levelled in the 40th minute from the spot but Sammy Imbuye extended the lead for Sofapaka in the 44thn minute heading into break.
Sharks were reduced to ten when Sven Yiddah received second yellow card in the 76th minute.
In Machakos, Charles Momanyi scored solitary goal as Champions Gor Mahia returned to the suit with 32 points, a point more than forer champions Tusker. In other results, George Ogutu grabbed a brace as Tusker humiliated bottom side Chemelil Sugar 7-0 at Muhoroni Grounds.
Timothy Otieno netted a brace Hashim Sempala and Humphrey Mieno scored a goal apiece.
At Mbaraki stadium, Bandari were awarded maximum points when Nzoia Sugar failed to turn up.
