Shujaa: Injera back, Okwach debuts

Experienced Collins Injera is back in the Shujaa, the national rugby7s team while Geoffrey Okwach will make his debut in the team ahead of Hamilton and Sydney Sevens series.

Kenya’s record try maker Injera from Stanbic Mwamba returns to the squad for the third and fourth rounds as he teams up with KCB’s Geoffrey Okwach.

Okwach was in the junior team that qualified for the World Rugby Junior Trophy after beating Namibia 21-18 in the Barthes Cup final in Nairobi.

Head Coach Paul Feenal also named Andrew Amonde as the team captain.

Kenya is in pool B alongside South Africa, England and Japan.
