Former Haramber Stars striker Allan Wanga has urged Kenyan footballers to learn about business and investing for future.
The Kakamega Homeboyz captain said players must be ready to keep earning a living even after hanging their boots.
There have been rampant cases of many Kenyan footballers finding themselves broke within years of retirement and Wanga believes these can be reduced with proper mentorship and education.
“Apart from playing football they should look for something else to do. And if they cleared their A-level course then they should go ahead and pursue at least a certificate, diploma or even a degree course,” Wanga.
