KRU narrows down to four for Shujaa

Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has narrowed down to four coaches to replace Paul Feeney as Shujaa, the national rugby team head coach.

According to Daily Nation, the union had initially receied 15 aplicants but they have narrowed down to four after the  interviews that kicked off last Friday.

KRU Secretary General Ian Mugambi said that four coaches are on the interview list, but gave no names.

“We had 15 applicants. We are left with four after short-listing,” said Mugambi.

Once the interviews are done by the panel constituted for that purpose, he said, the name of the successful candidate will be forwarded to the KRU Board

The seat fell vacant when Feeney left by mutual consent in June and went back to New Zealand after the coronavirus pandemic.
