Recovered from coronavirus, Kipruto to chase Doha Diamond league title

Recovered from coronavirus disease, Olympic and world 3,000m steeplecahse champion Conseslas Kipruto will be taking to the track at the Diamond League series in Doha, Qatar on Friday evening.

Kipruto, who missed the Monaco Diamond League after testing positive for the killer virus, Kipruto will be up against Bethwel Birgen, Vincent Kibet and Brimin Kiprono in 1,500m title chase.

The Commonwealth Games 3,000m steeplechase winner failed to travel alongside Commonwealth Games 3,000m steeplechase silver medalist Abraham Kibiwot in Monaco.

But after recovering from the disease, the all time runner will be chasing his maiden title since the coronvirus hit the world of sports.
