Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga was on target again in the J-1 as s Kashiwa Reysol lost to Shonan Bellmare on Sunday.
His goal tally now stands at 22 as his side lost away 3-2 with former Gor Mahia scoring a goal.
The winner took charge in the 4th minute through Takuya Okamoto before Olunga leveled in the 22nd minute and Kashiwa took the lead in the 52nd minute through Yuta Kamiya but Temma Matsuda equalised for the winners in the 78th minute and Naoki Elyounoussi sealed the 3-2 victory for the bpttom of the table side.
Olunga has been in impressive goal-scoring form in the J1 League after he scored a brace to help Kashiwa Reysol down Vissel Kobe 4-3 on October 10.
As Olunga races clear in the Golden Boot competition, a number of Kenyan pundits and former stars have asked him to join another league.
