Three teams will be chasing one slot to be promoted to Division Two in a play off set for this Saturday at the Eldoret ASK Ground.
With the league ending prematurely after coronavirus hit the sporting world, the branch league did not end well hence forcing a play off to determine one team that will represent Uasin Gishu Branch to the Division Two league, the 4th tier in football management.
Eldowas, Swara and Southern Force will be battling in a round robin format.
In the fixture, Eldowas, the Edoret water service provider wll open the field against Swara as Swara will tackle Southern Force and Eldowas will end the campaign with Southern Force.
Newly elected Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Uasin Gishu branch chairman Peter Chesang said they have put all measures to ensure that the teams will perform well and the winner to be determined outright.
“The virus provided a bad situation for the league, not just in Uasin Gishu but across the board. With our play-offs, we expect teams to come out blazing. I know they are prepared for the show,” said Chesang at the venue of the event.
Before the league came to an abrupt end, Eldowas was leading the table with Southern Force second and Swara completing the podium.
