Zoo Kericho players and officials have been summoned to appear before Fifa Integrity Unitin independent investigations over allegations of match-fixing.
In a letter signed by FKF CEO Barry Otieno, read: “FKF is in receipt of communication from Fifa with regard to preliminary investigations on alleged incidents of match manipulation in Kenyan football. In this regards, Fifa has requested FKF for support in their investigations as they plan to interview various players, coaches, and officials involved in Kenyan football by providing premises for the interviews and inviting the aforementioned individuals.”
Those who will be appearing before the committee are will coach coach Herman Iswekha, chairman Ken Ochieng will be heading to Kandanda House for the interviews.
Others to be interrogated are former players Sammy Sindani, Vincent Misikhu, Martin Elungat, and Johnstone Ligare.
Fifa has already banned four Kakamega Homeboyz players like Moses Chikati, Festo Omukoto, and Festus Okiring for four years as Ugandan George Mandela was banned for life.
George Owino became the first high profile player in Kenya to be banned by Fifa.
