Gor Mahia captain Kenneth Muguna, defender John Ochieng and striker Nicholas Kipkirui will miss today’s first leg fixture in the Caf Champions League first round tie against CR Belouizdad in Algeria.
Muguna, Ochieng and Kipkirui travel with the team for the August 20, 1955 Stadium match at 10.45pm will see the return leg on January 5 at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
This encounter follows the rescheduled on December 23 but aborted as K’Ogalo were unable to access the locked Algerian air space.
Muguna is nursing ankle injury he suffered in the second leg of Caf Preliminary round clash against APR of Rwanda, Ochieng has not been featured since joining from the disbanded Chemelil Sugar in August and Kipkirui has family engagements.
Kipkirui scored the winning goal against APR in the 3-1 final outcome.
