It was great day in office for Adarsh Shah who won the Lion’s Charity golf tournament played at the nine hole Eldoret golf course on Saturday.
Playing on home ground and leading 1-7 top home based golfers beat many golfers beat a host of golfers to win the title meant for charity work.
He carded 39 stable ford points ahead of second placed handicap 08 golfer George Njoroge with a single point of 38 points.
Handicap 11 golfer started on a high note with 20 stable ford points in the opening nine before returning with other lower 19 points to win the competitive tournament.
Shah said that the tournament will open up many channels in connecting the rest of the community.
“This is a good tournament meant to help the needy and I will be in forefront to help them in all means,” said Shah.
Njoroge played identical 19 points in each nine ahead of Lina Shah who played handicap 18 carded 37 stable ford points to complete the podium places.
Handicap 14 golfer Jeremiah Kayago lost to Lina on count backs after a 37 stable ford points score. Tom Mutei (14) was 5th overall with 36 stable ford points beating handicap 23 Pyare Aggarwal to 6th position with 35 points.
Former club captain James Waweru came in distance 7th playing on handicap 12 with 34 points. Former ambassador Cheluget Kipyego of Golf Park came in 8th place with 33 points.
Sahil Aggarwal and Rosemary Cuthbert were in 9th and 10th positions with 33 points apiece after they lost to Kipyego.
